bche directors broadly contribute to the health economics curriculum at the University of Basel and elsewhere. Matthias Schwenkglenks provides teaching in health economic evaluation and decision-analytic modelling in the SSPH+/Swiss Society of Health Economics framework, in the Master of Public Health Program of Universities Basel, Bern and Zürich and elsewhere. He also offers introductory health system financing and health policy courses to medical students at Universities Basel and Zürich. Additional teaching activities are in epidemiology and biostatistics. Günther Fink’s courses “demography for health” and “economics of global health” targets master students in epidemiology, economics and related fields. Stefan Felder offers courses in “medical decision making” and “health economics” at the bachelor’s level and “health insurance”, “reimbursing health care providers” and “evaluation of health care services” at the mater’s level.

bche will establish a major in health economics at the Faculty of Business and Economics. The International doctoral courses in health economics and policy, organized by the Swiss Society of Health Economics provides courses for PhD students.
