Marina Antillon

Marina Antillon is a Senior Scientific Collaborator. She leads analyses in economic evaluations and disease modeling of strategies against human African trypanosomiasis (gambiense), Salmonella typhi, and tuberculosis. Thematically, she's interested in decision analysis under uncertainty. She holds a degree in environmental studies with a minor in statistics from the University of Chicago and a degree in epidemiology from Yale University.

Michaela Barbier

Michaela Barbier, PhD, is a senior scientist in health economics and modeling at ECPM and has a background in biostatistics. Her main interests lie in the area of ​​health economic evaluations, benefits in health care, health services research and the analysis of real data.

Jana Bartakova

Jana Bartakova, PhD, is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Nursing Science (INS) at the University of Basel, with a degree in systematic integration processes in healthcare and a PhD in health economics. Her research experiences include health economic evaluations in implementation science and, in addition to clinical studies, labor market analyzes in the healthcare sector, HTA, quality of life research and health economic modeling.

Sascha Brunner is a PhD student in Health Economics at the University of Basel as of March 2021, under the supervision of Prof. Stefan Felder.

Mark Lambiris

Mark Lambiris, PhD, is a senior health economist at the Health Economics Facility at the Faculty of Medicine and the Institute of Pharmaceutical Medicine (University of Basel). His research activities include health economic evaluations (cost-effectiveness analyzes of drugs or interventions), the application of causality inference methods to real-world data (health insurance claims, electronic medical records, social security datasets), implementation research, and evidence synthesis (meta-analysis). His work has spanned multiple disease and health areas, including infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, child and cognitive development, mental health, cancer and multiple sclerosis. He uses both frequentist and Bayesian statistical methods.

Judith Lupatsch

Judith Lupatsch, PhD, is a senior research scientist and lecturer at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Medicine. Her research interests focus on health economics, HTA, epidemiology and health services research, especially modeling aspects.

Niklaus Meier

Niklaus Meier has been a doctoral student in public health and epidemiology at the University of Basel since January 2021 under the supervision of Prof. Thomas Szucs and specializes in health technology assessment and cost-effectiveness analyzes for pharmaceuticals.

Stefan Mitterer

Stefan Mitterer is a health economist and PhD student in Nursing Science at the University of Basel as of March 2019, under the supervision of Prof. Michael Simon and Prof. Günther Fink.

Dante Jr Salvador

Dante Jr Salvador, MD, PhD, is a senior research scientist in health economics at ECPM and Health Economics Facility, Department of Public Health with degrees in biology, public management, and public health, and doctorates in medicine, and epidemiology and biostatistics. His research experience and methodological interests include: health economic evaluation, health technology assessment, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, health financing, and cardiometabolic epidemiology.

Nadine Schur

Nadine Schur is a senior research scientist at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Medicine (ECPM) at the University of Basel. She has a degree in biomathematics and a doctorate in epidemiology. Her research interests lie in the analysis of real-world databases, health economic evaluations and decision-analytic modeling.

Fabrizio Tediosi

Fabrizio Tediosi is Group leader for Health Policy and System research in the Household Economics and Health Systems Research Unit at the Swiss TPH as well as Titular Professor at the Faculty of Science of the University of Basel. His main interests lie in the fields of health economic evaluations, health financing and management, global health policy, health policy analysis and evaluation.
